About Me
Salzburg, a “beery” great place! Right from the start brewing was an entirely woman’s matter here in Salzburg! Why did Salzburg develop such a great and varied brewing tradition, how did it all begin and why beer became so important, how Salzburg’s traditional “Stiegl” brewery got its name, why the Müllner Bräu brewery has become a magnet for beer enthusiasts, who were the “Untersberg water horsemen” and what role did they play in Salzburg’s beer history - this and much, much more can be found out on this 3-hour historic walking beer tour.
An informative and amusing guided tour of Salzburg in which we demonstrate the city’s brewing competence, explore its entire beer brewing culture and enjoy a stop-off for refreshments in one of the city’s oldest public houses.
